I have just faced the biggest challenge yet of my life. Trying to have a conversation about the phrase 'dynamic brick' while neither person seems to know what the hell that means. The only thing I can think of is that it could mean a moving brick. That would sort of make sense. But for that to happen something must have moved the brick, because I really can't see a standard brick moving itself in any way. For example, someone may throw the brick at a greenhouse, but it can't throw itself at a greenhouse. That makes lots of sense.

Now, to the best of my knowledge, the brick has remained stationary throughout the entire conversation. So, at no point in the conversation did the brick ever get thrown at a greenhouse. We can now dismiss this possibility. It must have been moved somehow though, but how?

But what if it wasn't stationary...

Then a horrific thought squeezed its way out of my brain, fell out of my nose, and hit the floor with a sickening squelch. There is the possibility that maybe, just maybe, the brick was moved - made dynamic, it would seem - without either of the contributors to the conversation about the dynamic, or indeed non-dynamic, brick noticing. Perhaps some other being has been interfering with the brick. That ever-so-prized brick with its priceless dynamic properties may have been tampered with. Just the thought of such an audacious and cunning crime makes my blood boil. To think that people would sink so low as to fiddle with my brick while I'm not looking. For shame...

But I guess I have something at least to be happy about. I still have my brick. It's happy, so I'm happy. It seems to have escaped this ordeal unharmed, but who knows how it could end next time one of these criminals strikes. I wanted to get the message across that no matter how safe you think your bricks are, somebody could be tinkering and meddling with them right now. Think safe - guard your bricks.
